Achievements

Proof of the transformative power of early intervention, comprehensive care, and pure determination! Seven remarkable children who underwent treatment and rehabilitation with us were felicitated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for breaking barriers and excelling in their respective fields—ranging from securing seats at top medical colleges and cracking national civil service entries, to winning silver medals at the Asian Youth Para Games. Speaking at the event organized by the Children Orthopaedic Care Institute and Nagai Narayanji Memorial Foundation, Minister Gadkari commended our team's sustained efforts in enabling young champions to reclaim their lives and thrive as independent contributors to society.

As part of the Disability Day celebration, our paediatric NGO was honoured to receive a special invitation from the Raman Science Centre, Nagpur, where our young patients enjoyed an inspiring and memorable day of learning, exploration, and fun. The visit provided children with an opportunity to discover the fascinating world of science through interactive exhibits, engaging demonstrations, and hands-on activities that stimulated their curiosity and confidence. Beyond recreation, the event promoted inclusion, social participation, and experiential learning, allowing every child to explore their potential in an encouraging environment. The smiles, excitement, and sense of achievement witnessed throughout the day reflected the true spirit of empowerment and equal opportunity. We sincerely thank the Raman Science Centre team for their warm hospitality and for creating unforgettable memories that celebrated the abilities, resilience, and limitless potential of every child.

To commemorate Disability Day, our Pediatric NGO organized a vibrant Cycle Rally aimed at promoting awareness about the rights, abilities, and inclusion of children with disabilities. The rally brought together children with special needs, their families, therapists, volunteers, and community members, all united by the message that disability is not a limitation but a different ability. Through enthusiastic participation and inspiring determination, the event encouraged the public to embrace inclusivity, empathy, and equal opportunities for every child. The rally stood as a powerful symbol of resilience and hope, demonstrating that with the right support and encouragement, children with disabilities can achieve remarkable milestones. This successful initiative strengthened community awareness and reaffirmed our commitment to building a more accessible and inclusive society where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

On 12th June 2019, Dr. Viraj Shingade was awarded as a "Pride of Nagpur" by Maharashtra Times at the hands of Mayor Smt. Nanda Jichkar in presense of Mr. Shripad Aparajit, editor Maharashtra Times.

On 15 August 2019, Dr. Shingade was awarded as “Best person working in childhood disability” at the hands of Shri Sanjay Yadav (IAS) and shri Ashwin Mudgal (Collector,Nagpur). Present on the occasion were Social Welfare Officer Ms Sukeshini Telgote, Superitendent Mr. Sachin Ramteke and other office bearers of the Department.

POSICON 2017, was an international conference in true sense, with attendance of 550 deligates from across the world and excellent academic extra vaganza brought Nagpur city on world map.
